MOHEDA TOFFELN
- A company for 5 generations!
It was like this it all started...
Johan Magnus Sundell, born 1833, in Svänans, Småland. Started as a shoe apprentice in Åkhult, a small village in Moheda parish. Around 1860 he bacame a shoe maker.
His son Axel Johansson, continued in the same profession and in time he also became a shoemaker, in the village Vitteryd, also in Moheda parish.
Axels son, Reinhold Johansson, continued in Vitteryd as a shoemaker until 1939, when he started Reinhold Johansson´s Shoe factory, that produced sandal stitched working shoes, sandals and slippers.
1958 came the forth generation, when Reinhold´s son, Inge Reinholdson started in the company, were he worked until 1973. In 1973 Inge Reinholdson started Moheda Toffeln with production for wooden clogs.
1993 and 1996 Inge´s sons Petter and Gustav Reinholdson began in the company. This became the fifth generation within shoe making.
There are plenty to choose from for a sixth generation...
